Issue: How to decorate around two mismatched sized windows in the Master bedroom.

Solution: Move Kingsize bed next to the smaller window and create a sunny sitting spot in front of the other.

A Missing Fireplace But a Prominent Hearth

Issue: A front room fireplace was filled in, but the hearth (approx, 1.5’h x 2’d x 3’w ) remained.

Solution: Recreate the feeling of a fireplace for an intimate sitting room.

 

 

 

A Place to Hang My Hat…or Coat…and Bag

I wanted something special–something that wasn’t expensive, I didn’t have to invent, but could get and perhaps use in a different way. I’d scanned Pinterest, hearted Instagram and spent long hours surfing the net (and no, unlike real surfing, it did nothing for my core!) and found nada.

It wasn’t a big deal–who cared about the hook I installed as some kind of quasi-mud room for guests? Nobody, except for me!

I finally found what I was looking for–geometric, artistic, and doable–perfect!
